59 houses and apartments on a former local authority housing site. Based on a ‘home zone’ shared surface approach, the layout and concept elevations were produced by Kenny Brown whilst at Turley Associates. A high standard of design was stipulated by Salford Council and constraints such as a sewer easement had to be overcome. Planning permission was granted and the development is now largely complete.
